“In Charlottenburg, the Cybik couple had a bad experience renting out a charming one-room apartment due to a tenant from hell. As a result, they now want to sell the small property as quickly as possible. But no one is willing to take the plunge. And yet, the Cybiks have long since lovingly removed the traces left behind by the nightmare former tenant — or so they believe. In the process, however, good taste has fallen by the wayside. Wildly mismatched furniture, a kitchen in rustic oak style, a tiny bathroom that looks as if it came straight out of a fairy tale. All of this simply puts off potential buyers.
But help is on the way. The home-staging duo — and couple — Christian Lemke and his girlfriend Justyna Walczak previously worked together in the United States and have been active as stagers in the capital for the past two years. They take on the challenge of 38 square meters and attempt to turn something small into something truly great and unique. But will they be able to convince the owners to loosen their grip on the budget for their ideas and the necessary changes?”
